The on going herd of giraffe sculptures which has arrived in Worcester, forming an unmissable 10-week art trail! ‘Worcester standing tall’

Exists of a total 57 giraffe sculptures – beautifully decorated by artists, schools and community clubs – which have formed the six-mile trail through Worcester’s streets.

The showcase has been brought to the city by St Richard’s Hospice, created by Wild in Art – the company behind recent trails such as The Big Sleuth in Birmingham.

19 October 2018 Oktoberfest is soon to arrive again for the second year running at Worcester race-course, providing a weekend packed full of live music entertainment and true Bavarian style celebration. So top up your stein and step inside Europe’s biggest bier tent for a traditional Bavarian bash!

We have had a few exciting new upgrades and renovations at Hop Pickers with the pool having new slabs laid and some beautiful new pots which have been planted with ornamental grasses and flowing flowers.  New hurdle gates to create an enclosed area outside The Barn.  The addition of a stunning wooden rocking chair “just for 2” outside The Shepherd’s Hut and now the trees have been coppiced there is a super view out across the fields towards The Malverns.

Our duck egg rescue has been a wonderful experience with seven out of eight eggs hatching. They were carefully raised in a cardboard box in the living room as ducklings, then moved to the slightly larger stable outside and now fully grown exploring the world fully on our three ponds! They have become a real addition to the Hop Pickers family, even on occasion spotted joining us for breakfast!
