Do you have a minimum stay?

Yes, 2-night minimum stay. During school summer holidays the barn and cabin are a 7 night minimum stay with a Friday check in.

Are there hot tubs?

Yes, the barn, cabin and hut have electric jacuzzi style hot tubs. The bell tent does not currently have a hot tub.

We endeavour to have your tub hot and ready for arrival, in busy periods/very cold months this is not always possible, but the tub should be hot by the late evening on the first night.

Are you Dog friendly?

Yes! Arrive to a dog welcome pack with all the essentials for them to enjoy their stay. We can also provide crates, and stair gates when requested in advance. All our stays have enclosed gardens. There is a small fee (£25) to cover additional cleaning required after your stay.

When is the pool open?

Mid May – Mid September. There are timeslots throughout the day, one morning and one afternoon so guests can enjoy private use of the pool. Please bring your own swimming towels and return cushions to the poolhouse.

When can I use the games room?

We allow our guests to use our games room within reason and can be accessed freely throughout your stay. Please do not create excessive noise which will upset our neighbours. There’s also a Wii and a great selection of board games to keep everyone entertained. With a handy kitchenette and WC.

Do you have free Wi-Fi?

We have super-fast fibre wi-fi which can be used to stream your favourite films or ‘work from home’.

Are bed linen/towels provided?

Yes. The beds will be made up as requested and each guest will have a hand towel and bath towel. Also provided are bathmats and hand towels in the bathrooms. We do not provide swimming towels.

Where can I park?

Each property has a designated parking space for 2 vehicles, please advise if there are more so we can accommodate you.

What time is check-in and check-out?

You’re welcome to arrive any time after 4pm on your arrival date, however if you are going to be late we will arrange a self check-in. On departure we kindly ask that you check out by 10am.

What's in the welcome pack?

All locally sourced. Bread, apple juice from our own orchard, marmalade, locally baked brownies and eggs from our hens when available.

Tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil and salt & pepper, plus washing up liquid, sponge/cloth and tea towels/oven glove are included.

Our tennis court is at its best during the summer months, perfect for a fun game. It is not an all-weather surface and can hold moss/leaves in the winter months. Rackets and balls are provided but best bring your own if you can.

What is the £100 security deposit for?

We will not charge for the odd broken glass or plate however if there are any significant carpet stains or excessive damage or major additional cleaning required you will be charged. (we know glasses get broken by accident, please inform us so we can replace these for the next guests)

What local pubs and restaurants are nearby?

There are plenty of great places to eat and drink please see our Food & Drink page.

How do I get in touch with you?

If you still have questions that we have not answered here please just ask via our question form, email anytime sales@hoppickers.co.uk or text Louise on 07834652132 or Rebecca on 07983023039.

We will respond as soon as we can.

How many dogs do you allow?

We have a 2 per property rule. Please get in touch if you have a larger furry family.

Is the garden enclosed for dogs?

Yes. Each property has an enclosed garden with stock fencing and wooden gates. However, these are not classed as fully secure. Very small dogs or young puppies may be able to squeeze under gates, and larger or particularly agile dogs that can jump higher than approximately 4ft may be able to get out. The gardens are enclosed to a reasonable standard, but dogs should always be supervised outdoors.

Are there walkable pubs?

Yes. There are lovely walks directly from the door across rural countryside. The closest pub is approximately a one-hour walk, and maps and directions are provided. As a family, we regularly enjoy walking to The Fox & Hounds, Lulsley (around 50 minutes), The Talbot at Knightwick (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes), and The Nags Head (around 2 hours).
