Our closest is The Firs - Elgar’s birthplace less than 6 miles away. Visit the delightful cottage in which Sir Edward Elgar was born, discover the gardens and pop in to the brand new tea room. Music at The Firs, listen to classical and modern music performed in the birthplace of one of England’s finest composers and discover music which you may have never heard before.
Croome Court is just 14 miles away, the former home of the 6thEarl of Coventry you can view the magnificent restored house full of exhibitions. Visit Britains largest walled garden (open at weekends at an extra £5), follow clues on an outdoor family trail (extra £2) between 6-28 April, there is an Easter egg hunt, face painting and Easter basket making and also discover the secrets of the Second World War airbase at the visitor centre RAF Defford. Dogs welcome with downloadable walks and trails.
Brockhampton 7.48 miles away, a traditionally farmed estate and medieval manor house. Discover the house that has changed little in hundreds of years and explore the glorious Herefordshire countryside. Dogs are welcome.
