If you have a trip planned to Hop Pickers this autumn/winter we have brought together all of the local events happening in the run up to Christmas.
October
As Halloween is on its way, picking your own pumpkins at Top Barn Farm Park is a fun day out for the whole family! A ‘real farm, real food, real fun’ experience at Top Barn Harvest Shop and Farm Park.
On the Home Front weekend at Avoncroft Museum – 15th,16th October. Travel back in time at Avoncroft and see some of the county’s established re-enactment groups, historic car displays plus some vintage shopping and a vintage hair stylist!
Classic Car Show at The Three Counties Showground – 16th October
A fun family day out, perfect for the classic car enthusiast.
West Midland Safari Park Spooky Spectacular! 22nd-30th October. Marvel at hundreds of pumpkins, meet the excitable pumpkin-scarecrow character, ‘Patch’. With extended opening hours you can discover the dinosaurs and rides in the dark or explore the free scratchcard trail to help locate the missing potion ingredients and win a special treat.
West Midland Safari Park is also bringing back their spectacular lantern festival on selected dates from 11thNovember – 8th January. 40 light groupings all with a flora and fauna theme, explore the walk-through areas of the park like never before. A fantastic family evening out!
November/December
Enchanted Gardens at Webbs of Wychbold – 5th November – 2nd January A magical Christmas event. Immerse yourself in a fairy tale world, as you make your way through twinkling lights and lanterns to the snowy north pole.
Santa Trains at Severn Valley Railway 26th November – 2Hr 30min experience to include a train ride from Kidderminster to Arley and return, pantomime entertainment, sweet treats, travel mug and drink, gift and festive activity book.
December
Time for some late night Christmas shopping? We have you covered at the famous Victorian Christmas Markets in Worcester. With evening shop hours, tasty food stalls, mulled wine and Victorian street performers you’ll be in for a great night out.
The Winter Glow is back and open until the 2nd of January at the Three Counties Showground. Follow the illuminated light trail and enjoy a selection of winter activities. Ice Skating, Observation wheel, Christmas market and festive food with Bavarian style bar. They even have 2 days where you can bring your dog too on the 13th and 28th of December.
